Two Brooklyn Film Makers Get Married at Roxbury Barn & Estate

Not gonna lie, when I think of a barn wedding, I think of rustic decor with sunflowers and burlap. Not exactly my favorite style. I couldn’t have been more wrong going into this modern and stylish wedding at Roxbury Barn & Estate.

I knew Allyssa & Jake had great style since I photographed their engagement session in their amazing loft in Brooklyn. It included some wine, a record player, and a delicious charcuterie board. The perfect date night in. So fast forward to their wedding day and I’m not at all surprised by how sleek and timeless Allyssa’s dress was or how sharp Jake looked in that blue tux. Not to mention their understated decor that blended seamlessly with the design of this black barn and twinkly lights.

And don’t even get me started on their party. This crowd kept the drinks flowing and feet moving on the dance floor all night long. And after all that, they managed to climb back up the hill for a huge bonfire. It was the most perfect ending to this magical night.
