Intimate Sunset Wedding at Wythe Hotel

Capturing Kristen and Matt's big day at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NYC was an absolute dream. The couple had put so much thought and effort into personalizing every aspect of their wedding, making it a true reflection of their love story.

The day started with the bride getting ready in a gorgeous suite at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. The Groom spent his morning preparing for the big day at a fantastic Brooklyn apartment with a backyard. There was so much excitement in the air, with everyone laughing and enjoying each other's company as they prepared for the main event. As a photographer, it was the perfect opportunity to capture candid moments of the bride and groom surrounded by those closest to them.

For the first look, the Bride and Groom met on the corner in front of the iconic Wythe, which created a beautiful backdrop for their photos. The lively and vibrant streets of Williamsburg provided a great opportunity to capture more candid moments of the couple, adding to the already incredible collection of photographs. We strolled over to Marsha P. Johnson State Park for a breathtaking photo session along the banks of the East River.

After taking some wedding party photos on the street, we headed to the terrace overlooking Manhattan for the ceremony. It was held at sunset, creating a romantic and intimate atmosphere. The stunning backdrop of the city skyline made for the perfect setting, with pink and orange skies bouncing off the buildings in the distance. Kristen and Matt went to great lengths to add elegant touches to the whole day, but especially the reception, including tall candles atop golden candelabras, white linen table cloths, and minimalist yet stunning floral arrangements.

Overall, we had a such a fun time because Kristen and Matt really trusted us to take some fun and romantic photos. Between the first look photos on the street, the sunset portraits, and the fun reception photos, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We were so grateful to have been able to capture their special day and create lasting memories that they will treasure for years to come.
